Lime Glazed Brussels Sprouts and Sweet & Savoury Glazed Tofu on a Brown Rice bed Recipe

Ingredients
150g firm tofu or extra firm tofu
3 tbsp vegetable cooking oil
1 red pepper sliced
2 garlic cloves , minced
1 inch root ginger sliced
2 spring onions
Brussels sprouts
1pinch mustard seed powder
1/2 lime
1 teaspoons cornstarch
Stir-fry Sauce
½ tbsp. dark soy sauce
1 tbsp. light soy sauce
1 small pinch of salt
1 inch ginger grated
1 tbsp. chopped spring onion
1 garlic cloves , finely chopped
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. water
1 tsp. sugar
Instructions
1Cut the firm tofu into cubes around 2 cm. And then drain to remove the water on the surface.
2Cut red pepper and Bruxelles sprouts into small pieces.
3In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients for stir-fry sauce.
4 Heat up 3 tablespoons of oil in wok/skillet And get the cubes in to stir-fry until tofu becomes gold-brown in surface. Move the tofu cubes out.
5Stir fry for 5/6 min the Brussels sprouts in the same wok/skillet with 1/2 glass of water, the mustard seeds powder and a pinch of salt. In the meantime, mix the lime juice with 1 teaspoon cornstarch and pour on the Brussels sprouts, mix well until they’re all coated and set aside.
6 Fry ginger, garlic and the spring onion in to stir-fry over slow fire until fragrant; return tofu cubes in along with pepper pieces.
7 Slightly stir the sauce and pour in. Give everything a give stir fry until the tofu cubes are well coated. Mix well and serve with steamed rice or noodles.
