🔪Prep Time: 25 minutes
👩🍳Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
200g Corn Flour
150g Normal Flour
180 ml Water
2 tbsp Olive Oil
½ tsp Salt
Instructions
1Combine the corn flour, the normal flour, the water, the olive oil and the salt in a bowl.
2Knead for about 5 minutes until a smooth dough forms (if the dough seems wet add some more flour if it is too stiff add in some more water).
3Set the dough aside for 10 minutes to rest, now heat up a pan, take a segment of the dough and roll it out as thin as possible.
4The dough can be quite tricky to handle but once you get the hang of it it’s easy, place the thinly rolled out dough into the pan and let brown on each side for 1-2 minutes, then take it out and brush with a season mixture of your taste (take 3-4tbsp oil and mix for example with paprika powder, chilli powder, pepper, salt or even rosemary).
5Now cut the round flatbread into the form of nachos. Proceed doing so until the dough is all used up.
6Pre-heat the oven to 225C° and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
7Put the nachos on the baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes, until they reach your desired level of crunchiness and brownness. Take out of the oven and let them cool down completely before enjoying them with homemade queso-sauce or hot sauce.
8Enjoy!
