Pretzel Buns Recipe

Ingredients
240g Plant Milk (lukewarm)
60g Vegan Butter (melted)
1tbsp Sugar
5g Dry Yeast
Instructions
1Combine the ingredients and let sit for 5 minutes.
2Meanwhile combine 350g flour with ½ salt in a bowl, combine with the yeast mixture and knead into a firm but slightly sticky dough.
3Cover and let rest for 1h, punch the air out of the dough, roll and cut into 4 (or 6) equally large pieces.
4Now form into rolls and put on a lined baking tray, let rise for another 25min. Pre heat your oven to 230°C.
5In order to achieve the ‘pretzel look’, in a large pot bring 3 litres of water to a boil and add in 70-90g of baking soda (turn the heat down to medium/low).
6Now carefully add in the rolls and boil them for 30 seconds each, carefully take out the rolls place back on the baking tray, scar, sprinkle with a little bit of salt and bake for about 15 minutes or until nice and pretzel-brown. Enjoy.
